How does Bathmate work to enlarge my penis?

[/header]

[body]

The Bathmate works by engorging your corpora cavernosa with blood, similar to when you get an erection. The difference is the vacuum created allows more blood to be forced inside, expanding penile walls to larger than previously possible.  When this occurs tiny micro tears are created in the penis cell walls.

These tears heal very quickly- larger than they were previously.  Repeating this process slowly enlarges your penis over a period of time.  Bathmate works more effectively than air based pumps because the internal vacuum is not equalized with air based pumps, causing bruising and a much less effective pump overall, whereas water created a safe and even vacuum.

Will the Bathmate cause skin discoloration on my penis?

[/header]

[body]

This is not a listed side effect of the Bathmate, the majority of guys never have any penile discoloration but because everyone has their own biological makeup it is impossible to predict if this will be an issue for one specific person.  Generally speaking discoloration occurs from pumping for to long a period of time repeatedly. If you follow the guidelines for pumping time you wont experience any issues.

How big can I get with Bathmate

[/header]

[body]

The standard response is 1 to 3 inches in length, and that is an accurate answer for most guys. You can gain more size if you implement penis stretching exercises with pumping (which I highly recommend every guy does).  The Goliath is the largest model available, and it can accommodate a penis up to 9.8 inches in length- so the technical answer is 9.8 inches.

What are the dimensions of each bathmate model?

[/header]

[body]

Each Bathmate has a different maximum size. Here are the official sizes;

Hercules: 8.5 Length x 5.9 Girth

Hydromax x30: 7.08 Length x 5.68 Girth

Hydromax x40: 8.46 Length x 6.91 Girth

Goliath: 9.84 Length x 7.72 Girth

What's the difference between Bathmate and Penomet?

[/header]

[body]

They are both water assisted penis pumps (hydro pumps), and both work to increase the length and girth of your penis.  They are very different products though. Penomet uses very soft medical grade gaiters, where Bathmate uses a more firm rubber gaiter. Penomet has interchangeable gaiters making it forever upgradable, whereas the bathmate utilizes an affixed gaiter system.  You can compare the two side by side here.

My testicles get sucked into the tube when I am pumping! How can I stop this from happening!?

[/header]

[body]

This is a common problem with guys who are just starting and have not gained any girth yet. Always stretch out your scrotum before pumping, so your balls are hanging below the gaiter.  You never want your balls inside the pumping tube.  If that is not enough you can make use of pumping sleeves to completely stop the suction on your balls.

Can the Bathmate be used without water?

[/header]

[body]

Yes, the Bathmate can be used with or without water and with or without lubrication.

[/body]

[header]

What lubricants are safe to use with my Bathmate?

[/header]

[body]

The bathmate can be used with any type of lube you want. I personally recommend Pjur - Find it on amazon, this stuff is amazing.

[/body]

[header]

Is there a time limit to how long I can pump each day?

[/header]

[body]

There is no limit to how many times you can pump per day, as long as you are not experiencing any pain or water retention you can pump again.  I recommend waiting several hours between pumping sessions, and limiting the time per session to 15-20 minutes each.

[/body]

[header]

Can I use Bathmate with other penis enlargement devices?

[/header]

[body]

Yep, most guys use SizeGenetics and Bathmate together. Bathmate focuses 60% on girth and 40% on length, and SizeGenetics is designed to increase penile length alone.  Combining pumping and all day stretching is how I gained 1.5 inches so far.  If you are serious about "overhauling" your manhood like I did then using both is a good idea.

[header]

What if I want to enlarge my penis but I cannot afford the Bathmate?

[/header]

[body]

You do NOT need to purchase anything to enlarge your penis.  Pumps like the Bathmate make the process easier and faster, but they are not requirements.  Start with Jelqing and Stretching, and get a routine down that you follow everyday. After a few weeks you will begin to see small increases in length and girth.

[header]

I have a penis 5' inches or less, will the Bathmate work for me?

[/header]

[body]

Yes, If you have a smaller starting size go with the Hydromax x30 and start doing daily penis stretches in the morning and night. It will speed up your length gains and help you fill up the tube faster.

[/body]

[header]

Can I really grow "as big as I want"?

[/header]

[body]

From my experience and what guys share with me, I believe it is possible for every man to add at least two inches to his penis length. Penile girth I can only speak from my own experience, which has been about half an inch in permanent gains.  I am still pumping, and as I grow I will update this.

I'm considering buying a Bathmate but I don't know which one to buy...

[/header]

[body]

Bathmate comes in three flavors; Hercules, Hydromax, and Goliath. Hercules is the original pump, and Goliath is the larger version of the original pump.  Hydromax x30 and x40 came out after those two, and are much more comfortable and have 30% more suction.

Buy Hercules if you are strapped for cash and have a penis under 8 inches.

Buy Hydromax x30 if you want the stronger pump and more comfortable design- if you are under 7 inches.

Buy Hydromax x40 if you want the comfort factor, stronger pump and are under 8.5 inches.

Buy Goliath if you are over 8.5 inches.

How should I clean the Bathmate? Does it need special care?

[/header]

[body]

No special care needed. There is a cleaning kit available for fast care, but this is optional. Check out the how to care for bathmate post.

[/body]

[header]

Will the Bathmate Hydromax cause fluid retention?

[/header]

[body]

Fluid retention occurs from over-pumping (pumping at to high a force, for to long a period of time).  To avoid any fluid retention start pumping for 10 minute intervals, and move up from there as learn what feels best.

My Bathmate Hydromax x30 is leaking air through the valve! Is it broken?

[/header]

[body]

Yes, Bathmate had some manufacturing issues in May 2013, and if you ordered during that time you may have received a defective model. These are replaced at no cost to you, just contact the retailer you purchased from and explain the problem.  If you ordered through my blog, you bought from BathmateDirect.

[/body]

[header]

What is Bathmate's contact information?

[/header]

[body]

Bathmate is sold by several different online retailers. I recommend purchasing from BathmateDirect- They are reachable via;

  • Email: info (at) umproducts.com
  • Phone: +44 01924 482420

[header]

What's this I hear about counterfeit bathmate pumps on eBay and Amazon?

[/header]

[body]

Bathmate has been a huge success with their customers, and success breeds imitators.  No official bathmate retailers sell on eBay or Amazon- if you ordered a discounted product you should ask for your money back. These are not manufactured to the high quality standards Bathmate is known for, and the uneven pumping pressure can cause penile bruising and damage.

Always order from a trusted official retailer.
